Assembly, 3rd Shift (11pm—7am)

 

Qualifications & Essential Job Functions…

     • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization & adhere to all organizational standards

     • Operation and set-up of assembling centers

     • Ability to use and maintain air powered hand tools

     • Ability to analyze and solve issues

     •  Ability read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets

     • Ability to read and understand gages and other measuring devices

     • Basic knowledge of 6s safety and ISO organizational standards

     • Exceptional safety record and promotes good safety practices

     • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable and a self-starter

     • Ability to lift 40 pounds, with or without assistance

     • Ability to accurately perform mathematical computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

     • Able to meet specific deadlines

     • Interface with all departments and levels of management

     • Assists with other duties as needed and directed

 

Education and Experience…

     • 1-3 years experience in an industrial assembly

     • 1-3 years experience using gages such as micrometers and calipers, preferred

     • Stand-up forklift experience, preferred

     • Experience with bar code scanning regarding product movement, preferred

     • High school diploma or equivalent

  

Plant Labor, 2nd Shift (3pm—11pm)

 

Responsibilities…

     • Provide support to company advanced manufacturing needs

     • Must have ability to use and maintain air powered and hand tools used in basic repairs to the facility & equipment

     • Must maintain plant cleanliness, including washing and painting walls and equipment

 

Qualifications & Essential Job Functions…

     • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization & adhere to all organizational standards

     • Ability to use a hand held pallet jack, for truck, and other small industrial vehicles

     • Ability to read and interpret instruction sheets

     • Ability to read and understand basic measuring devices

     •  Basic knowledge of 6s safety and ISO organizational standards

     • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable, and a self-starter

     • Ability to lift 40 pounds, with or without assistance

     • Ability to accurately perform mathematical computations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division

     • Able to meet specific department and shift deadlines

     • Interface with all departments and levels of management

     • Assist with other duties as needed and directed

     • Ability to analyze and solve issues

 

Education and Experience…

     • 1-3 years experience in an industrial environment

     • Forklift experience, preferred

     • High school diploma or equivalent

  

Senior CNC Operator (NT’s), 3rd Shift (11pm—7am)

 

Qualifications & Essential Job Functions…

     • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all organizational standards

     • Successful candidate will become fully certified to routinely operate the NL-2500 lathes and NT 5-Axis Machining Centers

     • Operate and set-up of machining centers and lathes

     • Understand CNC programs and recognize safe program restart points

     • Willingness to cross train in other areas of CNC Machining

     • Train other operators to run and change over CNC equipment

     • Ability to teach zero points and transfer positions on new part introductions

     • Ability to step through unfamiliar programs in controlled manner, and identify potential issues

     • Solid knowledge of relationships between work offsets, geometry offsets, and wear offsets

     • Ability to trouble shoot and step thru ATC issues and alarms

     • Ability to change and maintain tooling

     • Ability to operate and change over robot end of arm tools

     • Ability to step robot through program due to an interruption of normal production or trouble shooting

     • Ability to touch up points in robot programs as required

     • Ability to analyze and solve issues

     • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets

     • Ability to read and understand gauges and other measuring devices

     • Basic knowledge of 6s safety and ISO organizational standards

     • Exceptional safety record and promotes good safety practices

     • Willingness to identify and participate in continuous process improvements

 

Education and Experience…

     • High school graduate or equivalent

     • 1-3 years experience in operation and setup of Mutli-Axis, Multi-Spindle CNC Machines

     • 1-3 years experience in operation and setup of robots, preferably Fanuc

      • 2-5 years experience in operation and setup of machining centers and lathes

     • 2-5 years experience in tooling change-overs

     • 2-5 years experience using gauges such as micrometers and calipers

     • Experience with barcode scanning regarding product movement, preferred

     • Proficient in the operation and setup of NL-2500 lathes and NT machines

 

CNC Operator (HUBS), 2nd Shift (3pm—11pm)

 

Qualifications & Essential Job Functions…

HR Assistant/Generalist (Full Time)

 

Position Summary…

     • The Human Resources Assistant/Generalist is responsible in performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR management. This position carries out responsibility in the following functional areas: payroll, benefits administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance, safety, and other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications & Essential Job Functions…

     • Backs-up payroll administrator

     • Creates & distributes corresponding reports, including attendance, turnover, headcount, employee status, etc.

     • Maintains and communicates special projects and programs such as AA/EEO compliance and Applicant Flow Tracking, Employee Recognition, Health and Wellness, Employee Activities, Employee Surveys, Intern Program, Headcount Reports, and other projects and reports as identified or as assigned.

     • Participates on or leads teams such as but not limited to: Safety Committee, Employee Club, Roundtable, Health and Wellness Committee.

     • Hires Employees through the HRIS and processes paperwork, pre-employment screening, reference checks, and background checks, as needed or required.

     • Prepares and maintains employee files, HRIS, training records, FMLA and benefit files, others as assigned.

     • Participates in developing department goals, objectives, systems, policies and procedures

     • Assigned as HR auditor to audit files, statements, records, policies, procedures, retention files, ISP, and training safety and HR for compliance and consistency.

     • Performs benefit open enrollment and scheduling of meetings.

     • Handles employee relations, outplacement, and exit interviewing

     • Conducts new employee orientations, ensuring all necessary forms are completed and returned. Works with managers to ensure successful on-boarding of new hire.

     • Handles HR corresponding reports, including information on attendance issues, turnover, headcount, open positions, HR Matrix and other reports as necessary or assigned.

     • Develops human resources solutions by collecting and analyzing information; recommending courses of action.

     • Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential

     • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.

     • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

     • Other duties as identified and assigned.

 

Education and Experience…

     • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field required.

     • Minimum of 2-4 years of professional-level human resources experience in a manufacturing or related environment, if not an intern

     • OSHA and General Industry safety experience

     • Computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel

     • Demonstrated knowledge of Federal and State employment laws and best practices.

     • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced team-oriented environment

     • Must follow all required safety guidelines

     • Ability to work overtime when needed

Physical Demands…

     • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.  Quality/Metallurgical Engineer (Full Time)

 

Quality Engineering…

         • Supplier Quality including but not limited to supplier development and improvements, supplier audits, supplier corrective actions, supplier deviations, supplier non-conformances, PSIR’s and supplier performance analysis

     • Assist in processing Deviations for Auburn Gear, Suppliers and/or Customers when required

     • Assist in managing the corrective action system for internal, supplier, and customer corrective actions

     • Lead Project Management initiative for process improvements driven from deviations, rejections, scrap, corrective actions, customer complaints, etc.

    • Manage Capability Studies and Gag R&R

     • Assist in Customer Complaint activities including the investigation, root cause analysis, process improvements, etc.

     • Assist with Internal and External Quality Audits including corrective actions audits, customer audits and ISO audits

     • Assist in the development or review of work instructions and inspection instructions

     • Assist production with quality issues

     • Assist with other duties as needed or directed.

 

Materials Engineering…

     • Assist and lead product engineering in development of materials, material specifications, and metallurgical processes

     • Assist Warranty Department with failure analysis investigations for returned material

    • Assist Product Engineering with failure analysis investigations for engineering test material

    • Assist in Supplier Metallurgical issues including but not limited to material selections, material processing issues, etc.

 

Job Measurements (Quantitative or qualitative methods of measuring successful attainment of job objective)…

     • Review Scrap, rejections, customer complaints, etc. and actions taken to eliminate the issues

     • Review of the audits for corrective actions

     • Review of supplier analysis and actions taken

     • Review of Customer Complaints and/or Warranty analysis for material issues

 

Education and Experience…

     • BS in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Metallurgical Engineering or Material Science or CQE with Materials Science knowledge.

     • Knowledge of problem solving, Project Management and failure analysis

     • Must have good organizational skills and communication skills—verbal and written

     • Must have a basic understanding of GD&T

     • Must be able to multi-task

     • Must be detail oriented

     • Strongly Desired: 3-5 years practical experience in inspection, failure analysis, metrology, auditing, supplier development, and knowledge of ferrous metallurgy.

     • 3-5 years of experience with casting and forging processes

Salary…
