| CNC Operator – Gear Cutter

Auburn Gear, Inc., a growing local company and international leader in drive technology has an excellent opportunity for experienced CNC Operators/Gear Cutters on 2nd shift.
The most qualified candidates will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
· 3-5 years experience in operation and setup of machining centers and lathes
· Experience with gauges and other measuring devices
· Ability to analyze and solve issues
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operation sheets
· Ability to change and maintain tooling
· Fundamental knowledge of 6S and ISO9001:2008
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· High school diploma or equivalent.
General Plant Labor- Part Time
Approximately 20 hours per week on first shift. 7:00am–11:00am or 11:00am–3:00pm.
The main responsibilities for this position include:
· Cleaning and pulling metal shavings from manufacturing equipment
· Maintaining the floors
· Running pumpers and hauling coolant
· Cleaning and changing various filters
· Cleaning the furnaces
· High school diploma or equivalent.
