Auburn Gear is proud to present a newly updated brochure for the Model 3 Series B, Shaft & Spindle Output Drives. The Model 3 is rated at 20,000 lb-in, (2,200 Nm), of intermittent output torque and a hefty 9,900 lbs, (4,490 kg), of radial load capacity. Another standard feature of the Model 3 is the use of a bearing nut retention system to precisely preload the bearings for optimal life and capacity.
In addition to the hex output shaft used primarily for small auger drives, we have added a spindle output option. The spindle is available with or without wheel studs. The hole pattern of the spindle matches up to the common 5-hole rim pattern making this unit an ideal and cost effective final drive for smaller mobile ag and construction equipment.
